As Advisor - Development of Containerized Solutions, you contribute to IT efficiency.


You lead practitioners and development teams on business relations, development projects and innovative, complex strategic initiatives, including updates, incident prevention, quality assurance and post-correction maintenance.

Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of work.


You make recommendations on the development and execution of projects and initiatives with a high degree of operational and conceptual complexity.

You use your analytical skills and comprehensive, detailed knowledge of your line of business and the organization. Coordination is critical. You interact with many stakeholders working in a wide range of fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

General Information on the Position


Main responsibilities- Work with suppliers to install new versions of software packages according to Desjardins standards- Ensure that the installed versions of the software meet the standards in terms of security, performance and vigilance of anomalies and vulnerabilities- Write procedures, guidelines and development methods.

Help develop documentation and prepare and deliver training for peers and users.- Identify system optimization opportunities and underlying impacts of changes.

Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
, including 2 years using CaaS architecture (TKGI and AKS), with Docker and with Kubernetes to manage clusters, volumes, networks, security mechanisms and the configuration of nodes and pods
  • Experience processing and using database management systems (DBMS)
  • Experience working with pipeline deployment and automation tools in a solution deployment context (CI/CD)
  • Experience with the Agile approach

Specific knowledge- Proficient using automated deployment (pipeline) tools: Concourse, Jenkins- Proficient using code version management tools: GitHub- Proficiency with Oracle databases- Very good knowledge of containerization concepts- Knowledge of Python programming and ability to read different programming languages- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and familiarity with business networks- Intermediate level proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools, or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and clients- Knowledge of CA-TDM software or other data generation or pseudoanonymization tool (an asset)- Knowledge of Bash Python and PowerShell programming (an asset)
