About

As part of the Sales Leadership team, you will have to play a fundamental role in our diversification group in Canada.

This is a key part of our diversification initiative and part of Mitsubishi HC Capital Canada's 10-year growth plan.

Your main responsibilities will be to lead a team of business development professionals and, as a team, achieve sales and growth targets by developing strong relationships with vendors and clients while ensuring compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and vendors
Prospect to direct clients along with vendor programs to ensure a mutually beneficial agreement
Understand clients and vendors' requirements and financial constraints to offer tailored financing solutions
Analyze clients needs and financial solutions to design financing agreements that meet their specific needs
Present credit proposal to internal credit committees for approval
Collaborate with internal stakeholders in order to develop new programs offered to clients and vendors while making sure that corporate requirements are met
Lead a team of business development professionals and perform human resources duties such as recruiting, training & coaching, performance management
Play an active and leading role promoting, nurturing, and guarding a sound risk culture with customer focus
Support team members in the various steps of the sales process in order to offer tailored financing solutions while meeting corporate policies and procedures
Stay informed about equipment finance and industries trends

Profile

At least 8 years of experience working in construction finance and leasing industry including experience in a leadership role
Demonstrated experience in business development and sales is required
Have a deep understanding of the construction finance and leasing industry
Ability to develop sales strategies for the assigned segment focus
Excellent ability to negotiate
Good problem solving skills
Strong communication skills
Actionoriented
