We have an opportunity for a
Territory Manager role for the
Americas region, to join our
Libraries and Institutions sales team.


As a
Territory Manager you will research, plan and implement new sales strategies while adopting an entrepreneurial attitude and an innovative approach.

You have the necessary business intelligence to build scalable sales programs in order to grow your assigned territory. Your strong communication skills and high level of EQ help you understand the needs of your clients.


In this role, you will:


  • Collaborate with Senior Area Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies for your territory (geographic market or library segment) based on your market knowledge
  • Secure new business, actively prospect and explore new partnerships to achieve sales targets
  • Manage existing customers to ensure retention
  • Analyze and reengage lapsed clients and keep low churn
  • Manage a team of inmarket sales agents and channel partners
  • Connect regularly with customers and prospects and conduct sales calls and demos
  • Build strong connections with industry leaders and influencers
  • Become an expert on all things that we offer, while staying uptodate with the latest market trends
  • Position will require national and international business travel

You are a great fit if you have:

  • At least 3 years of sales experience
  • 2+ years in educational or library market spaces is preferred
  • A professional demeanor
  • A positive attitude, motivated towards performance
  • Strong work ethic, goaldriven, selfmotivated, with an insatiable desire to win and seek more
  • Business acumen, excellent attention to detail and negotiation skills, a natural closer
  • A passion for meeting new people and building genuine and authentic relationships
  • Consultative and collaborative sales approach
  • Creative mind with exceptional communication skills
  • Knowledge of daily use of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Availability to travel internationally as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Sales, Business Administration, or another relevant field
  • A second language (French, Spanish, or Portuguese) is an asset

This role is a full-time position based in our Richmond, BC office. Working from home is available during the Covid pandemic and we are actively considering and trialing hybrid solutions post-pandemic.
