Full-Time Cabinetmaker
We are looking for an experienced full-time cabinetmaker to join our team.

We are a mid-sized construction company in Toronto, with an 8,000 square foot millwork shop and jobsites all over the GTA.

We have 27 people in varying roles from Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Shop Manager, Site Supervisors, Carpenters, Cabinetmakers, Apprentices, Labourers, and Drivers.

Most of our work is commercial interiors, but we do drift into residential, site carpentry, finish carpentry and art installations.

Our shop is located at Victoria Park and Danforth Avenue. Opportunity to start ASAP.

Responsibilities:

Perform cabinetmaking work according to plans, specifications, and blueprints.
Execute all aspects of cabinetmaking milling rough lumber, assembly, hardware and installation.
Measure, cut, finish, and install doors, windows, ceiling panels, walls, flooring, trim, staircases, furniture, etc.
Use machinery and power tools to perform duties.
Collaborate with other carpenters and supervisors to plan, coordinate, and complete projects.
Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite.
CNC experience considered a bonus.

Qualifications:

5 to 10 years of construction experience with residential and commercial projects
5 years of carpentry/cabinetmaking experience; progression or completion of the Red Seal certification is considered an asset.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with mínimal direction.
Valid G class driver's license required.
Must have own tools and steeltoe boots (other PPE will be provided).
WHIMIS, working at heights training, first aid certifications are considered assets, though training will be provided if necessary.

Salary and Benefits:

44 Hours per week; Monday to Thursday 7 am to 4:30 pm, and Fridays 7 am to 3:30 pm
CAD $30$40 per hour; depending on experience.
