Position description
Applicants with expertise in any relevant areas will be considered, with priority to those working in animal or iPSC models, state-of-the-art imaging, neuropathology, neuroinflammation, molecular or systems neuroscience, or genomics and epigenomics.

With over 55 researchers spanning a full range of mental health research (neuroscience, clinical services, policy, and epidemiology/population health), the Douglas Research Centre has been an international leader in mental health research for more than 30 years.
Integrated within the Douglas Institute, a psychiatric hospital, and the much larger Montreal West-Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre, the Douglas Research Centre also offers significant opportunities for carrying out research in collaboration with a wide range of nearby mental health services.
Job DutiesQualifications and Education Requirements
- Must have a PhD in Neuroscience, Health Sciences, or a related field and have completed advanced postdoctoral training;
- Must demonstrate excellent research productivity and the ability to attract competitive funding;
- Have a proven track record in advancing the field of neuroscience;
- Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to and, in accordance with circumstances, a track record in equity, diversity, and inclusiveness (EDI);
- Working knowledge of French, or a commitment to acquiring it within a few years of appointment, is essential.
