_ Job Summary-_


As an AWS Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's cloud computing infrastructure on the AWS platform.

Your role will involve deploying and managing cloud-based services, ensuring the security and availability of the infrastructure, and providing technical support to optimize the cloud environment.


_Responsibilities_

-

  • Designing and implementing scalable and highly available cloud architecture on the AWS platform.
  • Deploying and managing cloudbased services, including virtual servers, databases, storage, and networking components.
  • Monitoring the performance and availability of cloud resources, identifying and resolving issues in a proactive manner.
  • Implementing and managing security measures to protect cloud infrastructure and data, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using infrastructureascode (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to optimize the performance and costefficiency of cloud resources.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve cloudrelated incidents and issues.
  • Implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloudbased systems and data.
  • Staying up to date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and recommending their adoption when appropriate.
  • Participating in the planning and execution of cloud migration projects and assisting in the evaluation and selection of new cloud technologies.

_ Position Requirements-_

  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its core services.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with infrastructureascode (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, routing, and security groups.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in the cloud.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Docker.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or ELK stack.
  • Understanding of cloud storage options and experience with data backup and recovery strategies in the cloud.

_ Education and Experience-_

  • 3+ years of experience in a systems administrator or related role
  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Puppet, Chef, or an equivalent
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

_ Knowledge and Skills-_
