    We're growing And looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic candidate to join our team for the position of Maintenance Technician located in Moncton and Dieppe, NB . This is an ideal full-time, on-site opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and loves a challenge

    Duties include:

  • Maintaining the physical integrity of the building through general maintenance and up-keep of the assigned properties.
  • Cleaning and repairing items in vacant and occupied units (minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc).
  • Completing physically demanding work which includes the use of ladders, power tools and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Applying knowledge of building HVAC, plumbing, electrical, DDC BAS systems and life safety systems.

    • Qualifications:

  • Proven relevant mechanical/electrical aptitude and trouble-shooting skills.
  • General understanding of basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to bend, push and pull as well as go up and down stairs.
  • PC skills are an asset (Word, Excel, e-mail/web).

    • Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma and 5 years work related experience.
  • Previous experience in residential maintenance or related field.
  • Previous experience renting apartments and assisting tenants an asset.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation respecting residential tenancies in New Brunswick and the rights and obligations of Landlords and Tenants an asset.

    Fonctions essentielles du poste:

  • Le maintien de l'intégrité physique de l'édifice par l'entretien général des propriétés attribuées.
  • Effectuer le nettoyage et les réparations mineures électricité, plomberie, construction générale).
  • Effectuer des tâches physiquement exigeantes en utilisant des échelles, des outils électriques et en soulevant des charges allant jusqu'à 50 lbs.
  • L'application des connaissances de CVC, plomberie, électricité, systèmes DDC BAS et systèmes de sécurité.

    • Qualifications:

  • Capacité à trouver des solutions et à résoudre les problèmes de manière efficace.
  • Bonnes compétences en entretien et en nettoyage.
  • Connaissance générale de base de la plomberie, de l'électricité et de la menuiserie.
  • Bonnes connaissances en matière de réparation et d'entretein générale des systèmes de chauffage et de climatisation.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en organisation.
  • Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois avec précision.
  • Capacité à faire preuve de jugement et d'initiative.
  • Capacité à travailler seul et en équipe.
  • Capacité à soulever des charges allant jusqu'à 50 lbs (23 kg).
  • Capacité à se pencher, pousser, tirer ainsi qu'à descendre et à monter les escaliers.
  • Compétences informatiques serait un atout (Word, Excel, courriel et Internet).

    • Formation et expérience

  • Diplôme d'études secondaires ou cinq années d'expérience reliées à l'emploi.
  • L'expérience de l'entretien résidentiel ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Expérience requise en location d'appartement et en assistance aux locataires.
  • Expérience dans le domaine de la vente ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Connaissance des lois applicables sur les locations résidentielles au Nouveau-Brunswick et sur les droits et les obligations des propriétaires et des locataires serait un atout.
