Description

Job Purpose: The main responsibility of the Conference Producer is to oversee all aspects of the conference, serving as the primary owner of the content, product, and industry relationships. This includes managing the entire program lifecycle. Responsibilities include:

Development and maintenance of relationships with key market stakeholders such as industry leaders, partner organizations, vendors, and the media
Researching and developing the conference program
Acquiring speakers
Providing leadership to ensure a top-notch onsite experience and strengthen relationships with speakers, attendees, and sponsors
Continuously evaluating regional and global market trends to identify opportunities for enhancing conference content offerings

Responsibilities:

Collaborating with Conference Chair/s and Governing Body members
Organizing and facilitating Governing Body meetings to determine conference themes, topics, session chairs, and speakers
Conducting research with potential attendees to shape program agendas
Participating in calls and meetings with clients
Ensuring the conference agenda aligns with commercial objectives for sponsorship and delegate sales
Recruiting industry experts and relevant speakers for the program
Providing strategic market information to support marketing and sales efforts
Attending conferences for promotion, market research, and networking
Managing projects, keeping management informed, and preparing reports
Working closely with operations to deliver an exceptional onsite experience
Traveling nationally and internationally for conference management and customer service

Qualifications and Experience:

Passionate and knowledgeable about organizing successful conferences
Proficient in managing international event products concurrently
Experience in developing innovative marketing and sales strategies
