We are looking for on-call Banquet Servers to join our Banquet & Events team

The Royal Vancouver Yacht Club (RVYC) is one of the world's premier yacht clubs and one of the finest in Vancouver.

Our mission is to promote yachting, seamanship, and fellowship among current members and those who share our values of tradition, sportsmanship, and community service, among many others.

Our philosophy at RVYC is to provide excellent Member & Guest services in all that we do.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Communicating with the manager on duty and relaying information to the kitchen
Retrieving and Serving Alcohol/Nonalcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables
Bussing, cleaning, and resetting tables.
Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment
Assist with banquet setups/take downs
Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping, washing glasses and dishes.
Additional duties as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Friendly and able to build relationships with our members and staff.
Positive, team player who is able to work independently and within a team environment.
Must be 19+ and have valid Serving It Right Certificate
Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality is preferred
Able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift up to 15lbs
