Edmonton Integrated Services (_or _
EIS _for short_) is currently looking for a passionate and attentive Community Disability Support Practitioner/House Liaison (CDSP) with about two (2) to three (3) years' of proven experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities with high behavioral needs.

About the Role


Based in the Edmonton area, the role of a CDSP is to work collaboratively with and at the direction of the Agency's Program Supervisor while effectively providing compassionate care and attentive support to adult _Individuals Accessing Services_ ("
IAS") with developmental disabilities and behaviors of concern.

    $ $21.85 per hour based on education and experience, PLUS, a shift premium as House Liaison of $1.50 per hour based on a 40 hour per week

The Day to Day:


  • Assist in the development of daily routines and activities that align with the overall needs and development of the Individuals Accessing Services within the Residential Support Program.
  • Ensure the strategies outlined in the Individual's Support Plans are monitored and being documented regularly and accurately.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication records and reporting within the Program, ensuring administrative procedures as established by the Agency are followed.
  • 2 to 3 years' working experience providing individual care and support to adults with developmental disabilities, creating and implementing strategies with individuals with high behavioral needs is a must. CPI experience an asset
  • Formal and/or Professional Education in Rehabilitation or Human Services a major asset
  • Intermediate computer skills with applied experience in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Practical experience and accuracy with maintaining service records and reporting.
  • Ability to interact professionally while building positive relationships with Individuals, their guardians, family members, and other community resources.
  • Ability to provide a
    Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Clearance which meets Agency standards and Sector requirements.

Ability to provide Government issued endorsement of Eligibility to legally work in Canada where required.

Ability to provide Government issued documentation full COVID-19 vaccination.
