- Days: 6am to 2pm
- Afternoon: 2pm to 10pm
- Nights: 10pm to 6am
- Performing product change overs, CIP's on the filler(s) and sanitation.
- Controlling computerized panels with progress for the line.
- Tracking packaging materials for usage/loss rates.
- Ensuring packaging machines are in running condition supporting with minor repair
- Reporting large or complex problems to management or the maintenance team.
- Participate in creation or improvement of SOPs
- Actively participating in relevant environment Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) programs/initiatives, complying with environmental health and safety standards and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with TPBC's health and safety policy.
- Willing and able to train on multiple pieces of equipment
- Provide on-the-job training to other employees where required
- Other duties as assigned when not operating equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to engage in physical activities and manual labor, as required, including but not limited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling and bending
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and climates
- Ability to work varying shifts on weekends and/or holidays (days, afternoon, midnights, overtime).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Ability to follow health and safety rules and procedures
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to work in a competitive environment.
- Valid Forklift License considered an asset
- Mechanical aptitude considered an asset.
- Valid Level 1 First Aid Certificate an asset.
- Prior production, warehouse, or related experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Continuous improvement experience
- Demonstrate teamwork and ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and managers

Days, afternoon and nights. Rotation every week

ROLE SUMMARY:
As an Operator, you would be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, operating high speed manufacturing equipment, driving fork trucks and cleaning. You would also become trained in lean manufacturing techniques, which includes monitoring and interpreting performance date to ensure we're operating at our maximum capacity.
