This position is based with the Greater Toronto Area, but day-to-day functions can be carried out in the comfort of your own home.

Travel is limited to day trips with a occasional overnight stays.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain meaningful customer relationships that will generate revenue for the business
  • Promote Norbec's insulated metal panel and door solutions within your territory and designated project types
  • Promote Norbec's product offering to secure our position within the design stage as a named specification with architects, consultants, engineers, designers, specifiers, and end users.
  • Participate and/or organize L&L to architect/consultant firms to promote Norbec & have our products specified.
  • Recognize and convert specification opportunities into sales potential for our business.
  • Address specifiers, architects, designers, engineers, and end users needs to generate business and become their go to resource where our solution is applicable.
  • Support our project management / coordination teams, inside sales & plant personnel
  • Reach sales objectives by undertaking the necessary actions to achieve growth and maximize profitability
  • Resolve issue when they arise
  • Report activities to Sales management via a reporting tool.

Education and experience needed to be successful in this role

  • Degree in project management, estimating, building construction, industrial refrigeration, architecture or equivalent
  • Sales experience in the field of commercial/industrial construction is an asset
  • Experience in managing specification activities is an asset
  • Knowledge of Insulated Metal Panel products preferred
  • Knowledge and/or experience with refrigeration systems or cold storage construction is an asset
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and reading plans is an asset
  • Understanding the relationship between Owner/Architect-ConsultantEngineering Firms/General Contractor/Subtrade Installer
