Summary:


Bell Media's Original Programming department is seeking a highly organized, self-starter who loves Canadian television to join its team The Programming Coordinator will be responsible for providing a variety of duties to support the development of scripted and unscripted series for Bell Media.


Key Responsibilities:


This role is the first point of contact for external parties looking to develop with Bell Media and is responsible for all development department administrative activity, which includes overseeing all incoming scripted and unscripted pitch submissions and meeting requests and the tracking and logging of all pitch and development materials.


Other Duties Include:


  • Organizing, maintaining and updating the scripted and unscripted development files, budget and reports
  • Coordination with the business affairs department on development deliverables and contracts
  • Preparing a variety of reports and PowerPoint decks on an asneeded basis
  • Attending pitches and creative meetings, reading scripts and proposals and providing feedback and written notes for them
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Must be highly organized, detailoriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Superlative people skills and a strong team player
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a highly demanding environment
  • Postsecondary degree, diploma in media production, or relevant experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • A demonstrable passion for content, including a deep and robust knowledge of past, current and upcoming TV series, both in the market and internationally, across a variety of genres on both linear and streaming services
