THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production, automation, and support equipment including high speed packaging equipment and scale loaders.
  • Responsible for the design, verification, and maintenance of electrical schematics.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining programming, electrical components, and schematic standards.
  • Experience with End of Line formats and ERP systems.
  • Maintain repair & service reports of robotic equipment and automated production systems.
  • PLC, robot, and HMI programming, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform installations to correct operational errors and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits and electronic device integration.
  • Assist in mechanical work including breakdowns and changeovers as needed.
  • Perform set up and calibration for equipment and control instrumentation as required
  • Attend daily start/end of shift meetings for proper shift handoff.
  • Responsible for maintaining food safety standards and report food safety issues to QA immediately.
  • Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act by reporting all hazards, accidents, and incidents.
  • Follow all prescribed SOPs, HACCP and GMP procedures
  • Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Electrical License (442A Industrial Electrician License preferred).
  • Graduate of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology program or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of robot systems (ABB, Motoman, Fanuc).
  • 23 years of experience working in a manufacturing facility.
  • Read, write, and communicate (English).
  • Proficient mathematical and computer skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a good knowledge of standard tools, materials, methods, and trade practices.
  • Ability to lift 60lbs and work in cold.
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Good communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
