Our client's IT team requires a Project Manager to support an ongoing project related to IT Infrastructure.
This Project Manager role will be supporting IT workstreams as part of integrating a new business unit.

Key tasks:

Drive the planning and implementation of a multiregion networking service supporting the new business unit
Coordinate all teams required, including architecture, contracts, and IT technical specialists
Ensure that longterm support models are established with key stakeholders and processes implemented by the relevant teams
Execute the implementation of standard office infrastructure (network, servers) for additional sites as required
Plan, coordinate and track processes and support activities for the new business community this includes ongoing

- software license packaging, deployment as well as laptop deployments or recovery as needed

Track all requests from the new business unit that requires traditional IT support, and ensure those requests are prioritized with the various fulfillment IT teams, as needed to support overall timelines
Manage project timelines, budget, risks, assumptions, and dependencies
Provide regular reporting on progress, roadblocks and updated estimates to IT management and business stakeholders

Qualifications:

At least 5 years project management experience in an IT environment
Strong verbal, written skills in English (French is not required but is an asset)
Selfmotivated with a tolerance to ambiguity and change
Assertive, holding the team to planned dates
Experience navigating standard IT Operational groups and processes is an asset (e.g., Licensing, Asset deployments, Account integrations, etc.)
Experience with Network infrastructure projects is an asset, including cloud onramps such as ExpressRoute or Direct Connect
Experience working with Software development teams that deliver cloudbased solutions is an asset
Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services is an asset
