What YOU Will Do

Grow and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients to achieve the project goals and vision;
Develop and drive the construction schedule in conjunction with the project team ensuring that completion dates and milestones are met;
Put your problemsolving skills to work and recommend innovative methods that will increase effectiveness and efficiency to ensure project excellence and productivity;
Use your proactive approach to ensure compliance with our firstclass Quality Program;
Utilize your experience in trade partner selection and coordination of their activities;
Share your knowledge and be a role model through mentorship opportunities with project team members;
Keep the lines of communication open regarding project status and updates;
Be an expert in risk management to ensure any associated project risk is minimized;Take pride in compiling and completing companywide project reports;
Celebrate project success and completion and be a key member of the project wrapup process.

What YOU Will Bring

5+ years' experience in the civil construction industry;
University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience;
A proven track record of project success and team collaboration;
Previous successful experience managing projects valued at $30M+;
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issues to bring the project to successful completion;
Strong knowledge of construction and project methodologies, financial management, as well as building codes and associated legislation;
Role model status for health and safety as well as quality;
A passion to develop, maintain and execute the project schedule;
Good computer skills and previous experience with scheduling software;
Knowledge of the market.
