Front Desk Manager
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-service oriented, and tech-savvy Front Desk Manager to join our team.
As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Manager will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient check-in experience, as well as providing technical support and advice to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the front desk operations and ensure that all guests receive exceptional service
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise, including technical support and product advice
- Quote customers on different phone and laptop models, and explain the differences between models and repair options
- Calculate pricing for different services and products, taking into account busy periods and other factors
- Ensure that front desk procedures are followed and standards of appearance and cleanliness are met
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that guests receive a seamless experience
- Complete tickets properly with accurate model data, pricing, and information on what is wrong with the devices
- Work quickly and efficiently, especially during busy periods
- Negotiate with customers to ensure their needs and expectations are met
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Manager or similar leadership role
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, especially during busy periods
- Technical knowledge of phones and laptops
- Attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate information to customers
- Strong negotiation skills with customers
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour

- You will be working in a cell phone, gaming and technology repair shop. How well do you know the different phones? Do you like technology? Could you please give me some information of your understanding of technology? Are you familiar with the latest phones?
- Do you have experience in retail, helping customers, and or using a POS system. Please explain. You will be using a web based terminal to process quotes and transactions. I am looking for familiarity.
- Organization and attention to detail is essential. You will be responsible for converting work orders into sales. Our technicians are usually busy and sometimes there are errors on the workorders where the price does not match the description. We will show you to catch the mistakes. Have you ever had to do anything in your past which required detail like this? Could you give me an example?
- It is not essential to have a vehicle for this position but it certainly helps. We train our team so they can work in any of our stores. Do you have a vehicle? We also provide a $20.00 gas allowance if you need to work in St. Thomas or Woodstock for the day.
