The OPPORTUNITY

Responsible for scaling out the product
Assist in defrosting and bagging product
Operating and maintaining a Whiz knife
Assisting with the beef processing
Report food safety issues to Quality Assurance immediately
Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act by reporting all hazards, accidents, incidents or near misses to the Supervisor.
Follow all prescribed SOPs, rotation schedules, HACCP and GMP procedures
May assist in training others
Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.

THE REQUIREMENTS

Possess strong communication skills; written and verbal
Must be able to lift 70 Lbs.
Have basicintermediate computer skills
Be physically fit; ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Knowledge and experience of safe food processing practices an asset
Basic math skills
Proven ability to multitask
