Function


Under the supervision of the CEO and Sales Managers, the Sales Assistant contributes to the day-to-day execution of sales initiatives by providing support to the Sales Department, including communicating with partners and customers, planning business trips and meetings.


Responsibilities

  • Manage Sales Team Manager's schedule, including arranging meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with budgeting for trips, events, and other expenses.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
  • Ensure travel plans align with the Sales Team Manager's schedule and business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as data entry and CRM management using Zoho or Salesforce.
  • Assist with preparing sales materials and presentations.
  • Utilize Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Google drive and Calendar) for organizational tasks.
  • Provide assistance to the Sales Team Manager in closing deals and managing sales activities.
  • Utilize LinkedIn and Instagram for networking and sales outreach.
  • Research and identify potential business opportunities in new markets, particularly in the US.

Qualifications and competencies

  • Must have fluency in English you will be in contact with US and Western Canada, and possibly other locations in Europe and Asia
  • Fluency in French (an asset).
  • Fluency in Arabic or Mandarin (an asset).
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as HUBSPOT, Zoho or Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn and Instagram for business purposes.
  • Ability to conduct business communication in Arabic or Mandarin is an advantage.
  • College diploma in business administration or relevant field preferred.
  • Demonstrate proactivity, creativity and innovation;
  • Secretarial or customer service experience
- minimum 3 years' experience in a relevant field (administration, secretarial, sales)
