Description
The Supply Chain Manager will direct the company's overall supply chain operations, selecting vendors/suppliers and delivery of finished goods.

Supply Chain Manager will develop strategic plans ensuring the business objectives are met and onboarding reliable vendors to cost effectively supply the business with quality raw materials.

They will build an efficient and effective Supply Chain function while leading and motivating a growing team to manage the stock of finished goods and raw material to balance working capital.

Supply Chain Manager will also coordinate transport and logĂ­stical related KPIs and analysis. Ensure we have product available to deliver to customers on time and in full.


Main Duties and Responsibilities (This list is not exhaustive, and employees are expected to carry out other duties that may reasonably be required)

Managerial responsibility for all the supply chain functions from the front of the line to the shipping.


Scope / Limits of Authority

  • Manage all supply chain activities ensuring the delivery of valueadded service to the business;
  • Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and Regulations
  • Develop and enhance supply chain relationships both internally and with 3rd party providers.
  • Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining costeffective practices;
  • Analysing the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place
  • Identifying and minimising risk by predicting the demand for products and adopting new technology with no interruption to the process
  • Responsible for demand planning and recommendations for future capital expenditure requirements
  • Manage and develop annualised cost savings initiatives.
  • Development of product and material forecasting according to the needs of the business.
  • Responsible for production planning.
  • Management and delivery of agreed Supply Chain KPI's;
  • Collaboration with all areas of the business to ensure seamless communication across functional areas of the business.
  • Management and development of direct reports.

Person Specification Qualifications/ Experience


Essential

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within supply chain management in consumer goods industry
  • Supply chain professional with distinctive knowledge of planning supply chain pipeline, logistics, purchasing with procurement
  • Strategist with a high degree of creativity and knowledge adaptability
  • Experience in working within the international field
  • Experience in fastpaced industry
  • Managerial and coordinational experience

Desirable

  • Aluminium/Metal industry experience
  • Packaging industry experience
  • Food Packaging Experience
  • SAP experience

Aptitude/Skills Required

  • Strong team management
  • Manufacturing/production experience essential
  • Strong planning skills and project management expertise
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
  • Strategic planning and thinking, systems analysis and evaluation

Job Types:

Salary:
$95,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
