With stocking service centers located on both coasts of North America, and distribution partners worldwide, Connexus Industries is a leading provider of chain, lasers and metal detectors.

We are growing and hiring a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and support the Purchasing and Warehouse departments.

This role reports to the President and works with the department managers to ensure operational throughput, efficiency, quality, and negotiated cost savings.


Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives and new business processes.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs or other methods to measure supplier and departmental performance.
  • Support the Purchasing Team on vendor management (cost, quality, delivery).
  • Work with the Warehouse Team, coordinate facility and capital improvements, review, select, and approve improvement projects.
  • Lead internal accounting and external auditor with yearend and cycle inventory count.
  • Lead supplier qualification and development initiatives in a supplier quality management program.
  • Negotiate procurement contracts.
  • Participate in monthly project performance reviews.
  • Analyze and investigate actual vs. budgeted cost variances, and financial analysis of new initiatives.
  • Identify, develop, and implement processes to facilitate efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills and Requirements:


  • Post-Secondary education in a related field.
  • 3plus years of experience managing a Supply Chain Department.
  • Experience with suppliers in China and Taiwan
  • Experience developing and implementing process improvements.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP software.
  • Experience with lean management methods.
  • Efficient time management and prioritization skills.
