Under the direction of the Manager, the Clerk contributes to the effective operation of the department by acting as the central communication person (for the unit).
The Clerk B performs reception, clerical and administrative duties following hospital policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of maturity and discretion in handling confidential matters.
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Grade XII plus one year related experience or graduate of recognized one year related business/clerical program
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- PHS and STAR Registration preferred
- Knowledge of computers
- Data entry experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize duties
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours:
- Long assignment, fulltime position, 70 hrs biweekly
- Beginning as soon as possible with an expected end date of March 15, 2024 (Approximately 12 months)
