    On behalf of our client, DSI DANTECH, we are seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team in North America.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a talented technician with experience in the commissioning and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical equipment. This is a remote/home-based position, ideally located in the greater Toronto, ON, area.

    DSI Dantech is a large global player in industrial freezing, cooling, and heat treatment systems for the food industry with a strong focus on delivering high-quality products and solutions to its customers.

    The company's manufacturing facility and headquarters for North America is in Cincinnati, OH.

    As the Field Service Technician, you will work on the company's freezing and heating systems in the food industry. This includes installation support, complex electrical and mechanical commissioning, and troubleshooting.

    Service work may include, but is not limited to, routine maintenance, repairs, modifications, machine setup, or training of customer personnel.

    Extensive training at the facility in Cincinnati will be provided.

    Perform the installation, as well as the electro-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment at the customer's location. This includes preventive maintenance programs and inspections.
    Conduct hands-on training for customer personnel on the utilization and basic troubleshooting of equipment upon request.
    Support customer personnel by providing technical knowledge and expertise on the equipment.
    Be prepared and ready for service assignments on short notice.
    Prepare service reports accurately and regularly.

    Experience:
    Minimum 3 years experience working in an industrial electro-mechanical environment.
    Experience working on equipment in the food industry is a plus.
    Proficient in Allen Bradley MicroLogix, Compact Logix, and Control Logix.
    Able to install, debug, and repair electro-mechanical equipment in the field.
    Ability to work overtime as needed.
    Valid driver's license without any restrictions.
