INDEPENDENT LIVING ASSISTANT FULL-TIME

OUTREACH/ASSISTED LIVING

WORKING EVERY 2ND WEEKEND
Independent Living Assistants provide assistance to adults with physical disabilities and seniors in activities of daily living, which includes:

  • Personal hygiene
  • Bowel/bladder care
  • Rising and retiring
  • Dressing/undressing
  • Meal preparation and eating
  • Bathing/showering
  • Transferring/repositioning
  • Light house cleaning

Qualifications/Specifications:

Ability to meet the scheduling requirements of the position

Post-secondary education in Health related field or PSW Certificate

Experience working with people with physical disabilities or in a long-term care setting preferred

Mature, committed individual

Current First Aid and CPR Certificate required


Also required is access to dependable transportation

Salary:
From $23.65 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
