Reporting to the Coordinator, Administrative Services, the Administrative Assistant II - Program provides administrative support to the Leader of program/s, as well as is accountable for the coordination of a range of initiatives.

The role is a key contact for the program, as well as a communication point for program projects, processes and support.


What we offer:

Qualifications:


  • Successful completion of a 2year college Diploma in Medical, Executive or Office Administration, or as acceptable by the Hospital
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Demonstrated fiscal knowledge
  • Ability to identify problem, troubleshoot, provide suggestions and implement solutions
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's Mission, Vision and Values
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:


  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
