- High school graduation or general studies (GED) plus an administrative support program of over one year and up to two years or equivalent;
- Must have successfully completed the medical terminology course as per set time frame;
- Minimum of one year of recent related experience;
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Kronos, Mosaiq (an asset), Meditech and CSDS software packages (an asset);
- Good interpersonal skills, calm and flexible nature;
- Discretion and sense of responsibility;
- Ability to adapt and to cope with sometimes stressful situations;
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with clients, visitors, etc.;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
