    BARGAINING UNIT: CUPE

    JOB TYPE: Temporary full-time

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The successful candidate will provide various administrative support services. They will perform office, reception, secretarial and support duties. The successful candidate will also perform other related duties based on departmental needs.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school graduation or general studies (GED) plus an administrative support program of over one year and up to two years or equivalent;
    • Must have successfully completed the medical terminology course as per set time frame;
    • Minimum of one year of recent related experience;
    • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Kronos, Mosaiq (an asset), Meditech and CSDS software packages (an asset);
    • Good interpersonal skills, calm and flexible nature;
    • Discretion and sense of responsibility;
    • Ability to adapt and to cope with sometimes stressful situations;
    • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with clients, visitors, etc.;
    • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
    • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
    • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
    • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
    • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
