Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is seeking an experienced

Document Management (DMG) Technician with experience in the Oil and Gas/Petrochemical industry.

This role will be located in a busy and growing Oil & Gas Canada team in

Calgary, AB. Working the standard office hybrid work schedule.

Come and join a winning team Join #teamwood_**This role will coordinate, process, and manage the flow of documents between disciplines, the client, suppliers, and contractors in a timely manner.


Responsibilities:


  • Review submitted documents for adherence to nontechnical requirements.
  • Ensure document control function is being performed in accordance with project procedures and requirements in a timely manner.
  • Process all documents using the Wood and/or Client project document systems.
  • Communicate effectively with appropriate project staff on the status of documents.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • 35 years' experience working in an Electronic Document Management System
  • 35 years' experience in a similar document management role
  • Experience with handling and processing different types of documents in electronic format.
  • Computer literate with prior data entry experience
  • Proactive, deadlineoriented with ability to multitask
  • Proven organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience working in an engineering consulting environment is preferred.
  • Experience using MS Teams for communication.
  • Experience using MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Be familiar with basic engineering, supplier, and contractor document processes.
