We are currently seeking a highly motivated, customer and service focused
BRANCH MANAGER for our
Fort St. John, BC location.


Reporting directly to the Divisional Vice President and General Manager, the
Business Centre Manager maximizes the Centre's long-term market share, return on investment and profit sharing.

Our decentralized business model allows the entrepreneurial manger to operate the business as though it were his/her own - including participation in the very generous profit sharing plan, where qualified.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Strong customer focus relating to the sales, rentals, and servicing of safety equipment.
  • Identify, attract, develop, motivate and retain outstanding employees;
  • Establish and implement short, mid and long term business plan which will determine the opportunities, objectives and goals of the Business Centre in terms of sales, customer service, cost control, asset management and profitability;
  • Engage and cultivate strong, long term relationships with employees, key suppliers and customers;
  • Develop and maintain long term profitable relationships with key customers in trading area;
  • Participate in /coordinate service booking coordination for mobile (on site) services.
  • Identify and take advantage of unrealized opportunities for expansion in the Business Centre's region through existing and potential customers as well as products;
  • Communicate timely with Senior Management on market and business related issues and opportunities;
  • Increase the Business Centre's profitability through systematic control of costs, expenses, and investments;
  • Understanding and can influence favorably Medium and Large Capital Projects in trading area;
  • Ensure quality assurance in services and products.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Strong abilities in leadership, and management experience in related managerial and/or sales in related fields.
  • Familiarity with a variety of safety supplies and services including Fire Extinguishers, Breathing Air Equipment, Gas Detection, Fall Arrest, and PPE.
  • 23 years of related sales experience with proven record of profitable growth;
  • PC and Microsoft Office literate; Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong verbal, nonverbal and analytical skills;
  • Mechanical aptitude with equipment and vehicle.
  • Highly organized and goaldriven and Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Energetic, positive and professional attitude;
  • Ability to attract, develop, mentor, and coach teams
  • Ability to multitask and highly adaptable;
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop skills;
  • Sound judgement and thrives on Entrepreneurship;

$85,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
