Do you have a great eye for detail, and a working knowledge of cleaning best practices, products, and supplies? We are searching for a contract Cleaning Technician to join our skilled and experienced Cleaning team

You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in your assigned building and enhances the client experience with your dedication and a service-oriented approach to cleanliness and ensuring property maintenance standards are performed in a safe manner.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Cleaning Technician will ensure our Accora Village properties are clean and safe for our residens and employs to enjoy by:

Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents,
Garbage removal
Restroom cleaning
Maintaining building and common areas
Maintaining and stocking the supply room
Adhering to a weekly cleaning schedule.
Performing any cleaning work that is requested by the Cleaning Maintenance Supervisor
Assisting from time to time with the cleaning of vacant units.
Performing other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Following Safety procedures in the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent accidents and damage.
Keeping aware of hazards in the workplace
Taking responsibility for their own health and safety and that of their coworkers and customers.
Notifying the Maintenance Supervisor(s) of any building deficiencies or maintenance issues.
Participating in safety training as required
Exhibiting a passion for quality in work performance
Ensuring customers always receive friendly, prompt service

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

High school diploma
2 years' experience working as a Cleaning Technician
Excellent verbal communications skills
Must be able to comfortable lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time
Working on ladders is a requirement at times
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong customer service skills
As a condition of employment, must have a valid Criminal Background Check
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery

Flexible and highly organized with a great attention to detail
Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical effort is medium.
The job description implies the performance of repetitive tasks, including bending and twisting
Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
