What you will be doing:

  • The primary responsibilities of the Asset Protection Specialist (APS) are centered on 1) The identification and support of internal investigations, 2) Project Management as it relates to Asset Protection considerations and 3) Support of the Asset Protection Field Teams through training, data assembling and analytics.
  • Be the key point of contact with Agilence Administrators; define "job queries" and Ad Hoc reports for Store specific reporting and analysis. Responsible for help requests and issues with vendor.
  • Act as the primary Asset Protection point of contact for projects and as such, liaise regularly with preferred Security Vendors ensuring proper business practices are followed according to the Preferred Vendor Contracts as well as to improve overall processes relating to project quotes, scheduling, and invoicing.

How you will succeed:

  • Minimum Community College Diploma required
  • Minimum 23 years relevant experience in a role requiring solid understanding of data analysis and reporting tools; relevant experience in a retail environment would be an asset.
  • Strong business and financial acuity
  • Prior experience in a Data Analyst role
  • Proficiency in enterprise software systems (Exception Based Reporting / Point of Sale) is a must
  • Strong Retail and/or Operations experience is an asset.
  • Exceptional skills in MS Office specifically Excel, Access, Word and Power Point.
  • This role possesses autonomy so the ability to work unsupervised, possess demonstrated time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks with attention to detail as well as strong organizational skills, are a must.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
