Sterling Crane requires an individual to fill the salaried position of Dispatcher to work out of the branch office in Sarnia, ON.

This is a temporary position 12-18 months in term and position reports to the Branch Manager.

Dispatcher/Planner - Sarnia, ON

Sterling Crane requires an individual to fill the salaried position of Dispatcher to work out of the branch office in Sarnia, ON.

This is a temporary position 12-18 months in term and position reports to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

scheduling client orders, equipment and manpower in Fleet Cost and Care

- work with leadership to plan resources for major turnarounds/projects as required, ensuring maximum cost efficiency
- verifying all daily timesheets and client work orders for accuracy
- assist in obtaining permits for cranes and equipment travelling between sites as required

Qualifications:
- familiarity with heavy equipment/construction and a proven track record of client relations
- experience coordinating resources both internally and externally
- ability to problem solve and work independently with little to no supervision
- strong communication and organizational skills, high attention to detail
