**Position: Senior Liaisons Engineer**

**Location: Dorval**

**-12/18 Months**

**About the Role**: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Liaisons Engineer to join his dynamic team. As a key member of their engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between various teams involved in the design, development, and production phases of aerospace projects. The Senior Liaisons Engineer will be responsible for maintaining effective communication channels, managing technical documentation, and serving as a bridge between engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Communication Management**:

- Facilitate clear and efficient communication between engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical queries and clarifications.
- **Technical Documentation**:

- Oversee the development and maintenance of technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create, review, and update engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Work closely with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and quality assurance to address engineering change requests and resolve design-related issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to ensure alignment with engineering requirements.
- **Problem Resolution**:

- Proactively identify and address potential issues related to design, production, and quality.
- Participate in root cause analysis and provide timely solutions to engineering challenges.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the liaison engineering function.
- Implement best practices to enhance collaboration and communication across departments.
- Bachelor of Engineering degree or College (3-year) technical diploma in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Relevant experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) environment with airframe structure repairs.
- Familiarity with cabin interiors, metallic and composite aircraft structures, and aircraft system installation.
- Experience in dispositioning nonconformances in aerospace is an asset.
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
- Flexibility and comfort working under pressure with mínimal supervision.
- Proficient in browsing Engineering mockups in CATIA V5.

- Education/Degree: Bachelor Degree or relevant experience, Cegep Technical Diploma
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, processes, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

**Principales responsabilités**:

- **Gestion de la communication**:

- Faciliter une communication claire et efficace entre les équipes d'ingénierie, de fabrication et d'assurance qualité.
- Agir en tant que point de contact principal pour les questions techniques et les clarifications.
- **Documentation technique**:

- Superviser l'élaboration et la mise à jour de la documentation technique, en veillant à l'exactitude et à la cohérence.
- Collaborer avec les équipes d'ingénierie pour créer, examiner et mettre à jour les dessins techniques, les spécifications et les documents connexes.
- **Collaboration interfonctionnelle**:

- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les ingénieurs concepteurs, les équipes de fabrication et l'assurance qualité pour traiter les demandes de modifications techniques et résoudre les problèmes liés à la conception.
- Collaborer avec les fournisseurs et les partenaires externes pour garantir l'alignement sur les exigences techniques.
- **Résolution des problèmes**:

- Identifier et traiter de manière proactive les problèmes potentiels liés à la conception, à la production et à la qualité.
- Participer à l'analyse des causes profondes et apporter des solutions rapides aux problèmes d'ingénierie.
