At SMS Equipment - our
Technical Trainer - Parts supports business activities by understanding SMS Equipment's training requirements and supporting programs designed to meet the needs of internal SMS Parts department employees.

The
Technical Trainer - Parts will assist in the evaluation, development and delivery of training materials that support the Company's ongoing business initiatives.

The role is located in
Acheson, AB.
This position offers a
hybrid work arrangement.

The salary for this position is
$102,000 - $120,000.

Responsibilities include but are not limited too:

Collaborate with Parts business owners, managers, and supervisors to understand the training needs of the employees and management.
Awareness of organizational requirements by functional group and current training programs.
Develop and maintain in depth knowledge of the parts business.
Support training and development initiatives through researching trends in training and development.
Utilize specific business knowledge to develop and refine training documentation.
Assemble and teach specific training courses, workshops, and seminars, under the direction of the Supervisor, Training
Provide specific functional business area expertise as needed throughout training events.
Evaluate training and development effectiveness.
Provide feedback on employee attendance and participation at training events.

Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset.
Ability to operate in a diverse environment with a significant focus on client and customer relations is essential.
Strong presentation and communication skills and able to clearly explain information and processes.
Highly organised with good judgement and a positive attitude.
Effective time management skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Travel may be required.
