Primary Purpose of Position

Reporting to the Global Operation Director the role will effectively support the execution of engineering, quality and production standard and processes required by Wanfeng Holding Group.

She/he will work closely with oversea BU (business unit) technical function (engineering, quality and production) to verify, support and control the implementation of the required processes and budgeted results.

Major Responsibilities of Position
1)

Engineering:

Lead team in troubleshooting related engineering problems and ensures the completion of recommendations, improvements and/or modifications, support in the design and development of new magnesium die-casting components and assemblies and improve existing ones.

2)

Quality:

Promoting the implementation and effective use of quality systems and techniques including management system documents and procedures, coach and support the plant teams in the attainment and maintenance of superior quality systems, and to ensure the customer receives quality products.

3)

Production:
Responsible for all manufacturing activities and operations overseas.

Supervise the operation of the production site to ensure the normal operation of the production line and maximize production efficiency.

4) Responsible for engineering, production, and quality monthly data analysis and report statistics, and to develop continuous improvement measures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor degree majoring in industrial engineering, science and engineering, material forming and control engineering, Master degree or MBA will be an asset.
At least 8 years working experiences in manufacturing industry, automotive industry highly preferred.
At least 3 years technology /quality/production/engineer supervisor or manager position with business revenue above CAD 400 Million.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
Demonstrates crosscultural sensitivity and compatibility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics tools. Familiar with Power BI will be an asset.
Able to travel to Canada, USA and Mexico.
Required to have a G level driver's License.
