Business Development Specialist - Immediate, Full Time, Permanent
Link Product Solutions Limited is one of Canada's fastest growing and leading suppliers of Seasonal, Stationery and General Merchandise products to independent and major retailers in North America, the Caribbean, Central, and South America.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team.
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

In the role you will:
Create new leads in assigned North American, Caribbean, Central and South American markets using various resources including trade show leads, call prospecting, daily cold calling and web-base database
Qualify all leads for potential business opportunities through telephone sales
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers through daily contacts and visits when required
- Extract new leads and marketing data, create reports, data analysis
- Update database, price lists, preparation and distribution of daily electronic reports
- Preparation of marketing material and keeping updated on existing and new product lines
- Preparation of quotes for potential and existing customers
- Maintaining major accounts for all assigned regions
- Attend Trade Shows
- Domestic and International trade shows 23 times per year
Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ years in a recent B2B sales and business development environment
- Cold Calling
- Valid Passport, driver's license and vehicle
- Willing to travel 23 times per year
- Advanced level proficiency in Excel, microsoft outlook, Word
- Advanced sales, interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to build relationships with customers
- Excellent English communication oral and written skills
- Innovative, analytical and strategic problem solver; ability to gather details and analyze for decision making
- Resolve problems in a timely matter with a focus on a high level of customer service
- Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
- Time management and organizational skills to manage priorities and workflow
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Flexible to work some evenings & weekends during trade shows
- Assist in the setup of trade show booth
Job Types:

Salary:
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
