We currently have a
Casual opportunity for a
Patient Service Partner in the
Holland Centre Department
at our
Holland Campus.

**Hours of Work: Weekdays and Alternating Weekends; Days, Evenings; 8 Hours; As per schedule. Statutory Holidays Required


Summary of Duties:


Working with the professional team, the Patient Service Partner participates in the provision of patient care by providing a variety of support services to the team and patients.

Participates as a member of the team in a manner that reflects the Hospital philosophy and mission of service and promotes and maintains good public relations with patients, visitors and Hospital staff.

Patient Service Partner will be required to assist with preoperative preparation of the patient, decontamination of patient care areas, equipment, and transportation of patients.

Patient Service Partner will be required to go to other units to retrieve/transport required equipment or supplies.


Qualifications/Skills:


  • Minimum Grade 11 or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario Ministry of Education
  • Recent PSP experience in surgical setting
  • Completion of PSW Certificate or the Sunnybrook PSP (formerly PSA) will be given priority consideration
  • Infection Prevention and Control Certificate required
  • Must score 80% or better on the PSP quiz
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
