Shipper / Forklift Operator (Days)

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

Ensure that any movement of inventory is scanned and in the system at the time of movement with RF scan guns.
Support inventory control with accurate documentation
Safely load and unload trailers
Stage product in the picking area
Consolidation of partial pallets.
Cycle counting
Will be required to operate forklift
Ensure tasks are performed in a timely manner
Perform crosstrained functions within the work group as needed
Ensure all safety and processing procedures are followed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
All other duties as assigned

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

Must be dedicated to safety and continuous improvement
Certified forklift driver and previous forklift experience an asset, reponsibilities:
Perform various warehouse duties including but not limited to: building, heavy lifting, order picking, loading and unloading, packaging, and utilizing a warehouse management system.
Operate forklifts and reach trucks to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet productivity goals.

Skills:

Experience in warehouse distribution or a similar role is preferred.
Proficient in operating forklifts and reach trucks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately pick orders.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.

$20.00-$23.00 per hour
