As they continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in the food sector, they are seeking a CEO with significant public market experience within a Canadian securities exchange to lead their growing team.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement the company's strategic direction, setting key goals and guiding principles.
Oversee all company operations, making highlevel decisions about policy and strategy.
Represent the company in the public market and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and shareholders.
Drive the company's financial performance and growth, ensuring alignment with short and longterm objectives.
Monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to assess the company's performance and opportunities.
Ensure adherence to federal, provincial, and industryspecific regulations, including compliance with Canadian securities exchange requirements.
Build and maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, and the community to further the company's mission and goals.
Foster a positive and innovative work environment, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Act as the primary spokesperson for the company, representing the company to clients, the media, and the public.
Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and longterm goals.

Qualifications:

Extensive executive leadership experience, ideally as a CFO, COO, or CEO, within the food industry.
Significant public market experience with a Canadian securities exchange is mandatory.
Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance.
Exceptional ability to develop and implement effective business strategies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of leading highperforming teams.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and employees.
Indepth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
A strong understanding of federal, provincial, and industryspecific regulations.
Proven negotiation skills in a complex business environment.
