TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We offer a friendly work environment and great working conditions. We are looking for a motivated Technical Sales Representative who is looking for opportunities to grow.


Duties:


  • Identifying and realizing sales opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Providing technical information and explanations
  • Preparing quotations as approved.
  • Transferring sales orders to fulfillment; communicating expected delivery date and potential suppliers
  • Developing accounts by checking customers' buying history; suggesting related and new items, explaining technical features.
  • Maintaining communication about equipment by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
  • Maintaining and improving quality results by following standards; recommending improved policies and procedures.
  • Updating job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
  • Realizing department and organization goals by taking ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job
  • Occasional travel in US and Canada
  • Any other reasonable duties that may be assigned within the scope of the position.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Mechanical Engineering background
  • Excellent technical understanding
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings of customdesigned machinery a must
  • Excellent English communications skills
  • Postsecondary education in a related field
  • Proven sales and closing skills
  • Building Customer Relationships
  • Cost Estimation
  • Proficiency in Data Entry and MS Office Skills
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Selfmotivated and proactive with ability to work independently or in a team
