    Tasks

    • Load, unload and transport construction materials
    • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
    • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
    • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
    • Clean and pile salvaged materials
    • Perform routine maintenance work
    • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
    • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

    Support for persons with disabilities

    Provides awareness training to employees for a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities

    Support for newcomers and refugees

    Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees including facilitating access to community resources and skills training

    Support for youths

    Provides awareness training to employees for a welcoming work environment for youth

    Support for Veterans

    Provides awareness training to employees for a welcoming work environment for Veterans

    Support for Indigenous people

    Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers

    Support for mature workers

    Offers phased retirement options for mature workers to gradually reduce workload

    Supports for visible minorities

    Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities and provides diversity training for a welcoming work environment
