Description

Coleman Construction is seeking a Project Manager to Manage & estimate projects in ICI, and Agricultural sectors ranging from $50'000 - $5'000'000.

Quantity takeoffs for estimates and material orders
Prepare and distribute tender invitations
Review and prepare tender submissions
Read and interpret drawings, specifications and bid sheets
Preparing contract proposals
Preparing and issuing subtrade contracts
Preparing all project documents
Project budgeting and scheduling

- preparing monthly invoice logs for monthly invoicing

Liaison with clients, subtrades, and company personal
Conduct Shop drawing reviews
Conduct site inspections and logs, including progress reports.
Relay information between consultants, owners, subcontractors and in house staff
RFI's, Change Orders, Site instructions etc

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years working as a project manager/ estimator for a general contracting firm
in Canada
Must be current resident of Canada
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge and experience in Building Construction
Strong knowledge of computers, and programs such as MS office and blubeam
Able to read and thoroughly understand project drawings and specifications
Able to Communicate clearly and confidently
Able to demonstrate safe construction procedures
Able to work under pressure and long unusual hours when required
Able to work independently and in teams
Must read, write, and speak English
Must be eligible to work in canada

Assets:

Bilingual (French & English)
Construction field Experience
Surveying Experience
Post Secondary education in a relevant program (Civil engineering, CET, Architecture, Atech)
Health and Safety training
Experience working with Project management software (Procore, Sage 100, Sage 300, Buildertrend)
