Digital Marketing Manager - Job Description

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Microsoft Suite: MS Office, MS Teams etc.
  • CRM Platforms: Salesforce/Salesforce Marketing Cloud (others: Microsoft Dynamics, ZOHO, HubSpot etc.).
  • Extended knowledge of social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.
  • Experience working within different CMS platforms (WordPress, WooCommerce, HubSpot, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:


  • Defines and develops digital marketing strategy in line with the sales strategy and our various brands, includes studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers/target audiences and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
  • Oversee the flawless execution of social media posts and social media ads. Work with team to develop rigorous A/B tests. Analyze results with team and make changes in content to drive conversions.
  • Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying shortterm and longrange issues that must be addressed.
  • Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs), reporting on results and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate endtoend customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Identifies critical conversion points, drop off points, and optimizes user funnels.
  • Completes digital marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Lead and coach direct reports in support of company's goal.
  • Managing team member administration (performance review, goals setting, appraisals etc.)
  • Maintains digital marketing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees (including counseling, disciplining, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results).
  • Develops digital marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
  • Identify and evaluate need for alternative channel marketing initiatives.
  • Employ sophisticated data analytics/tools to create reports that will be used to optimize and improve the company's digital marketing performance.
  • Set up the attribution model and measurement for the multichannel marketing activities of the company (integrating both paid and unpaid activities).
  • Conduct regular digital and competitive audits to assess and monitor competitive performance and benchmark versus company performance.
  • Ensure all promotions are onbrand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
  • Oversee team's workflow, ensuring timelines on projects are met.
  • Create organizational tools (checklists for content, templates, gated porta for assets, etc.).
  • Lead special initiatives (ex: provide creative direction, video production, digital/website initiatives etc.).
  • Facilitate live webinars, virtual sessions/meetings (including inperson).
  • Developing, implementing, and managing digital budgets and timelines.
  • Create and/or process invoices/purchase orders.

Virtual Trade Show Management

  • Work with vendor to build virtual presence.
  • Manage all pre
- and post-show promotions, campaigns, sponsorship activity.

  • Record all customer and thirdparty show contracts.
  • Track budgets and schedules.
  • Capturing customer leads and list management (grow CRM).
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and Communications teams.
  • Coordinating show specials, featured products, banners, graphics and content.
  • Loading all content to virtual CMS platforms.
  • Create and/or receive purchase orders related to Sales & Marketing.
  • Coordinating all promotional/swag/apparel items for giveaways.
  • Create design briefs and liaise with graphic designer to complete design tasks.
  • Prepare PowerPoint/Prezi presentations as required.
  • Communicate with external clients as required.
  • Facilitate webinars, virtual sessions/meetings (including inperson).

Other

  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team across North America to collect market insight and report on competitor activity.
  • Any other duties as requested by management.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Desired Characteristics and Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of handson experience driving customer acquisition through digital marketing (agency or inhouse).
  • Good technical/project management skills and an understanding of the customer experience.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast paced and challenging environment.
  • Intimate experience managing campaigns to achieve specific KPIs, such as CPA, new customer acq
