YOUR MISSION


In a dynamic environment that requires a great deal of autonomy, you will support your colleagues, including the Show Quality Senior Director and the Show Quality Director, in insuring that the touring shows in diffusion meet CDS's high standard of excellence.


Your responsibilities will entail:


  • Manage minor and major projects (largescale projects, movement of artists, extended training during breaks, show upgrades):
  • Produce preliminary/feasibility studies for capital investment projects or any other project related to new artistic content (new act, show evolution, etc.) and submit studies to the Investment Committee;
  • Manage project deployment (project definition, implementation planning, budget tracking);
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders (Technical Project Managers, Artistic Directors, Head of Training, PMed, legal team, etc.) to ensure project success;
  • Support department management in the preparation of the annual show evolution budget as well as the maintenance of an overall schedule and monthly forecast;
  • Support department management in the preparation of the department's annual budget (travel and fees for designers, directors and artistic resources);
  • Act as a resource person for all Show Quality projects under your responsibility;
  • Manage the entry and exit of artists passing through the International Headquarters (SSI) ("Mouvement des Artistes"):
  • Responsible for communications and actions required for the integration of new artists, and artists in medical or reintegration situations;
  • Coordination with various internal departments (e.g. Human Performance Management, Immigration, Costumes, Pmed and other partners) and external departments (suppliers, travel, props/equipment, etc.);
  • Coordination with the artist;
  • Management and budget allocation of associated costs;
  • Provide ongoing support to the artistic teams of the shows for the management of any events/needs directly related to the Quality of the shows;
  • Actively participate in the department's annual planning process;
  • Support other Project Managers as needed; work as a team to support all shows, not just those under your direct responsibility.

YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE

  • University degree in administration, production or equivalent;
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant production experience, or Circus experience (an asset);
  • Bilingualism in English and French;
  • Ability to use different computer platforms;
  • Demonstrated problemsolving, work organization and planning skills;
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Excellent teamwork skills and autonomy;
  • Ability to work under pressure and ambiguity, manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive and confidential information.
