Summary


The Liberal Party of Canada is seeking a new permanent, full-time Fundraising Support and Compliance Coordinator to join a dedicated team of staff to support Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team as we work to keep Canada moving forward.

The Fundraising Support and Compliance Coordinator might need to work outside of business hours occasionally.


The Fundraising Support and Compliance Coordinator will serve as a member of a team dedicated to driving grassroots fundraising initiatives and programs, and supporting a diverse range of entities, including local campaigns and ridings.

They will join a team of fundraising professionals responsible for growing a portfolio of fundraising programs, including the Laurier Club, Victory Fund, and other donor development programs.

The Fundraising Support and Compliance Coordinator will also work with key supporters and volunteers to achieve fundraising goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting volunteer teams by executing fundraising events
  • Drafting communications materials and event scenarios
  • Performing administrative support for events
  • Record management and database work
  • Performing crossfunctional duties, as assigned

You'll need to have

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Diplomatic and outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire confidence and trust amongst all stakeholders and act ethically and responsibly in all interactions.
  • Ability to think strategically and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong computer literacy and database experience. Knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce an asset.
  • University degree or relevant college diploma in political science, business, fundraising and/or public relations is considered an asset.
  • Ability to converse in French is an asset.
  • Some travel may be required.
