Reporting to the Fleet & Inventory Warehouse Coordinator, you will be organizing inventory, shipping and receiving and repair hardware. You will also be a back up in supporting the Coordinator with other day to day responsibilities.What we offer:
- Average of 30+ hours a work week, and a flexible schedule
- Term: 3 months with possibility of extension
What you'll be doing:
- Receives, verifies, and stocks warehouse inventory and returned customer equipment, and records information in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Perform configurations and minor repairs to weather stations, telematic devices and other data collection hardware
- Accurately fulfills internal orders for materials and customer equipment in accordance with provided equipment requisitions
- Operates a shipping terminal to generate shipping labels, and communicates with transportation and logistics providers to ensure shipments arrive on schedule and in good working order
- Performs regular and ad hoc cycle counts, reconciles onhand inventory in WMS and escalates variances as needed
- Safely operates light material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment, and adjusts warehouse configurations as needed to optimize available space and in accordance with warehousing best practices
- Follows all legislated and company health & safety policies related to safe work practices, material handling equipment, and incident reporting
- Acts as backup to Warehouse Coordinators in triaging calls from customers, team members and service providers
- Other duties as assigned
This role could be a good fit for you if you have:
- High School or equivalent diploma or equivalent work experience
- Valid forklift license; considered an asset
- A valid drivers license; considered an asset
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools
- High level of time management and detail orientation, and strong organizational skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
