Job Description:
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
As a member of the Finance team, the person will report to the Controller. This position is responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
The incumbent will also coordinate with Materials, Engineering, and Production to prepare accurate costs for annual budgets, monthly forecasts and bridges for the variances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain financial control and plant performance reporting system in accordance with company policies and procedures Maintain and enforce appropriate internal control of financial and operational processes Prepare flash reports and assist with monthly financial statement packages Analyze variances and report on significant issues Maintain production monitoring activities (inventory, scrap, machine/labour efficiencies) Conduct month end closing duties and provide accurate and timely reporting relating to the internal costs for the operation of the plant Initiate and implement cost management controls and contribute to Continuous Improvement ideas Preparation of forecasts and budgets Preparation of capital expenditures request analysis Participate in external/internal audit process Maintain plant product line costing Develop ad hoc models to support materials, engineering, human resources, and operations Work in compliance with Stackpole International PMDA Quality Systems, Safety Systems, and Environmental Systems Adheres to Stackpole's policies and procedures Adheres and supports Stackpole's Safety and Environmental policies and practices Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE:

Skill Requirements:
_Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to interact effectively with management, plant personnel, auditors and various finance personnel at other divisions High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
