Our culture allows employees to bring their A Game to work each day.Reporting to the Project Superintendent , the Project Coordinator will assist the Superintendent and Project Managers with daily management of projects.
Read and interpret contract drawings and specifications.Request for quotes from subcontractors and supplier on as required basis.
Understand, read, and implement project schedules.
Use project scheduling and cost control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
Identify, measure, and keep record of quantities as per contract items and assist the project manager in preparation of the monthly payment certificates.
Implement the environmental/safety/quality control programs as per protocols.Assist the Project Manager and Site Superintendent in the cost coding and cost controlling process.
Attend site meetings (as required).
Assist the Project Manager in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP's, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules.
Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.Review field inspection reports from consultants throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Track contemplated change notices and change orders in the database.
Keep the Project Manager and others informed about project status and issues that may affect safety/quality/client relations and profitability.
Civil Engineering Diploma or Degree is an assetPractical construction field experience is an asset.
Proficient using Microsoft Office
A valid G driver's license
Experience with GPS, and other surveying equipment is an asset
Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyse and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
