About the Role
As a tax manager, you will take on a pivotal role and lead a team of professionals. You will service a portfolio of business clients with year-end financial statements, tax compliance and planning needs.

You will work closely with the firm's founder and operation manager to manage the firm's operation and improve processes and procedures.

What Your Day to Day Will Look Like

Correspond with customers to discuss, explain and advise on taxrelated matters
Review personal, corporate, trust and other tax returns prepared by staff and senior accounts
Research tax issues that arise from planning or compliance work
Engage in tax planning for small businesses and individuals
Correspond with the tax authorities when required
Quarterback any sales tax and corporate tax audits that may arise
Assist in the development of systems and processes
Pitch in for matters relating to fullcycle accounting when required
Coach and mentor our accountants and tax juniors

What You Need to Succeed

You can deliver spectacular customer service, you have great communication skills and you are able to easily explain difficult concepts
You have a CPA designation
You have 5+ years of tax experience working in public practice
You have experience negotiating tax audits with the tax authorities
You are confident and are comfortable with being the decisionmaker with regards to tax issues at the firm
You are exceptionally detailoriented
You are techsavvy
You are a problem solver
You are able to and like working in a fastpaced environment
You are able to meet tight deadlines
You know how to use Taxprep and Caseware or similar software

Salary:
$75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
