Job summary:
The Camp Coordinator will oversee the development, coordination and implementation of camp programs prepare schedules train supervise and evaluate camp staff assist the program coordinator as needed represent the city in a professional manner with appropriate actions conduct ensure safety supervision to participants rules regulations set out by department outside organizations are followed develop implement an extensive training program weekly staff meetings for camp staff supervise evaluate all camp staff notify program coordinator of any problems challenges issues oversee daily camps special events trips outings act as supervisor for day trips coverage for camp staff as required act resource person coach mentor to all camp staff volunteers evaluate all camps recommending changes to program coordinator provide timely accurate information child youth program coordinator respond appropriately decisions directions perform tasks responsibilities lens equity diversity inclusion ensuring commitment fairness representation accessibility respect diverse perspectives cultures aspects work.
