Description
The Site Supervisor is a pivotal leadership position, acting as a bridge between the Operations Director and the Foreman. They oversee the on-site progress of renovation projects, ensuring efficient work, client satisfaction, and maintaining team morale.

Their objective is to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction while ensuring that work standards are met or exceeded.


Responsibilities:

Oversee On-site Progress:


_Objective:
_ Ensure that projects progress according to schedule and quality benchmarks.

  • Key Tasks:_
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and adherence to plans.
  • Coordinate with Foremen to align on tasks and project timelines.
  • Address and rectify any onsite issues or discrepancies in realtime.

Client Satisfaction:


_Objective:
_ Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded throughout the renovation process.

  • Key Tasks:_
  • Engage with clients regularly to gather feedback and address any concerns.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for client issues, finding timely resolutions.
  • Ensure that the final product aligns with client specifications and industry standards.

Team Management and Morale:


_Objective:
_ Foster a positive and productive work environment.

  • Key Tasks:_
  • Motivate and provide guidance to onsite teams, ensuring high morale and efficient performance.
  • Address any personnel issues or conflicts, promoting a cohesive team environment.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Operations Director regarding team performance and areas of improvement.

_ Maximize productivity without compromising on quality.

  • Implement best practices and streamline onsite processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Collaborate with Foremen to identify areas for improvement and implement change.

Project Timeliness: Adherence to project schedules and deadlines.

Client Satisfaction: Feedback/ratings received throughout and post-completion of the renovation process.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some experience in carpentry or a related field is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic carpentry tools and equipment.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Experience:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
